Drink : Real Ales and Fine Wines

The Red Lion are proud to announce their inclusion in the 'CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2009' and recommendation by the Michelin 'Eating out in pubs guide 2010'.

The bar at The Red Lion oozes charm and character - the high backed settles, open inglenook fireplace and well kept real ales are the perfect ingredients for a cosy and relaxing drink. There is an excellent selection of carefully chosen wines. The bar is also a popular place to eat.

The Red Lion retains and old world atmosphere with oak beams, log fires, gleaming wood and comfy chairs. The traditional Cotswold bar is full of atmosphere, where visitors can sit back and relax.

If you are here to eat; choose either the bar or restaurant area. Our extensive menu and specials blackboard will cater for all tastes. From interesting sandwiches (hand-carved ham and wholegrain mustard on granary bread; buffalo mozzarella and beef tomato on ciabatta) to a lightly battered cod fillet, served on a sheet of The Red Lon Times newspaper.

Adventurous starters such as home-made ham hock, leek and Parma ham terrine with grape chutney; or celeriac remoulade on a salad of roasted beetroot, apples, and walnuts. Mains might include herb-crusted rack of lamb; steak and Hook Norton "Hooky" Real Ale pie, or grilled seabass with wilted spinach and ratatouille. Round off with a warm pear and almond flan and Mascarpone cheese, or an iced lime and ginger parfait.

Ideally situated for popular attractions such as Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle and the Cotswolds including Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden and Bourton-on-the-Water.

Bar Opening Hours:
